Following the 2 days of BUSTA meetings, the QUEST team, with it’s 4 European Solidarity Corps volunteers, had the opportunity to join the students at the Community of Democratic Education at their school. This was a special day, as the whole community gathered for a screening of the results of a student’s movie-making challenge. As skill development methodologies align between the BUSTA project and the CDE school, students are fully active on all dimensions of the movie production process, from the story making, the scripting, filming, acting, sound, editing and final production. This visit was a 2 way exchange as QUEST leads the BUSTA project result 1 (Documentary movie), and the students allow QUEST team to witness how this innovative pedagogy is fully integrated into this child-led educational culture.
