Member Forum – Experiencing Democracy in the Classroom

Experiencing Democracy in the Classroom I 28th July, 2026 I Online

Member Forums are spaces where our community comes together to exchange ideas and share successful educational practices, as well as discuss challenges related to different educational topics. This year’s theme focuses on democratic education and how schools put democratic values into practice

What to expect

QUEST will present what democratic learning environments are and how they move beyond simply teaching about democracy, to actually living it in schools. Questioning how classroom relationships, teaching methods, and school governance can be shaped so that education actively promotes civic engagement skills and democratic resilience, equipping learners with the tools needed to uphold democratic values in an era marked by growing societal distrust toward democratic institutions and ongoing global conflicts.

Are you not part of our membership? No worries. We are opening a few spots for non-members, including educators and organisations who want to take part. Fill in this form to sign up.
