Reimagining Education Through Children’s Rights: Practice Lab – From Student’s Voices To School Change

Practice Lab: From Students Voice to School Change (EVENT)

On the occasion of the International Day of Children’s Rights, QUEST is bringing together schools from across Europe to celebrate and strengthen student participation in education. More than a conference, this initiative is a collective journey in which schools create meaningful opportunities for students to exercise their right to participate and come together to share their experiences.

In the weeks leading up to the event, participating schools will implement one activity from the QUEST Student Participation Guide, inviting students to reflect on their educational experiences, identify opportunities for change, and make their voices heard within their school communities.

On 20 November, schools will come together to showcase their journeys, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. The programme will include:

  • inspiring keynote contributions on children’s rights in education,
  • a documentary featuring the work carried out across participating schools,
  • presentations by students and educators narrating their experience,
  •  a collective discussion on the challenges, successes, and lessons learned throughout the process.

Through this initiative, QUEST aims not only to celebrate children’s rights but also to support schools in embedding student participation as a lasting feature of their school culture, transforming the right to be heard into a school participation mechanism.

Special Recognition & Reward

Every participating school will receive a Certificate of Participation, and each student involved in the project will also be individually recognized for their contribution.

As an additional benefit, all participating schools will be invited to take part in an exclusive 2-hour training session developed by QUEST on the design of Erasmus + educational projects.
