Helloo
The month of September has been a busy month for QUEST, full of energy, deadlines, and team-building moments!
The month has started with welcoming new roles within the team! After months of dedication as interns, Sara Acevedo and Elena López have now taken on the roles of Project Officer and Communication Officer, respectively, while Pamela Osmani stepped into the position of Membership Officer. At the same time, we also welcomed Dominika Swinin, who joined QUEST as a new Project Officer.
September has also been one of the busiest periods for the Project Circle. Writing concept notes, project proposals, looking for partnerships and associated partners, and budgets! Ouf, it was a demanding stretch of work, but at the same time, it was also extremely productive, rewarding, and filled with collaboration and shared effort within the whole team.
In between deadlines, the DECUS project continues with the launch of the online teacher-training modules. Educators from different countries joined our sessions, contributing to rich discussions on democratic and inclusive education.
In the meantime, Rachna attended the 20th edition of the Summer School in Cinema, Human Rights and Advocacy in Venice, Italy. It is a specialised training for young professionals to explore the connections between human rights, films, digital media and video advocacy, and learn how to use film as a tool for social change.
September has been a month of transitions: new arrivals, new tasks, and new challenges, accompanied by new energy, commitment and purpose!
I’m excited to see what’s coming next.
See you soon for more updates
