Happy New Year from the QUEST team!
After a brief break for the New Year’s holidays, Andreia, Elena, and I returned to the office in early January, while Sara worked remotely, enjoying the sun in Nicaragua until the end of the month. Our first week back was packed, not only with work as we co-designed the organization’s strategy for 2025, but also with fun activities and team-building. We all visited a board game café and enjoyed quality time together.
Communication Circle
After the collective work, each of us jumped back into our circles. In the Communications Circle, the implementation of the new strategy has started with fresh ideas on how to engage our members, alongside refined processes and templates. Elena is particularly focused on the automatization of processes, with the goal of making our lives easier.

Project and Policy Circle
In the Project Circle, submission time is just around the corner, and everything is revolving around that. Both Andreia and Sara are building synergies with potential partners for their projects and preparing for their upcoming trips. Andreia is having the final trip of the REGEN project in Belgium, while Sara will be participating in the DECUS kick-off meeting in the Netherlands.
Finally, in the Policy Circle, we’ve already jumped into meetings with the coalitions that QUEST is a member of. As a QUEST representative in the Investing in Children Coalition, I, Pamela, recently attended the ‘Breaking the Silence: Uniting Efforts to Address the Sexual Exploitation of Minors’ event organized by KMOP, where I met representatives from state schools interested in joining our network. Last but not least, Andreia and I assisted Mia in drafting the operating grant application in the field of children’s rights. Let’s cross our fingers for it to be accepted!
