Inclusive Voices

Inclusive Voices

Inclusive Voices is a project involving organizations from Ireland, Belgium, and Spain, aiming to support youth workers in developing skills and  competences needed to engage youngsters (14–17) with fewer opportunities (FO) in rural areas, including migrants, Ukrainian refugees, and asylum seekers.
The goal is to foster active citizenship by connecting them with local decision-makers through non-formal youth-entered seminars and workshops to exchange needs-based practice.

objectives

  • To foster active European citizenship and strengthen the European dimension in rural youth communities through inclusive non-formal education, youth empowerment, and cross-border collaboration.

  • To foster active citizenship among rural young people, including those of fewer opportunities (“FO”) (asylum seekers, migrants and second generation) in rural EU regions.

  • To promote social inclusion through dialogue with local politicians and to advocate for inclusive representation of youths in rural areas, including those with FO needs in local, national, and EU policies.

  • To foster a sense of youth active citizenship based on EU values by empowering them to connect with the local TDs, EU decision-makers, youth workers and international NGOs/charities for more inclusive voices in rural society in the EU.
