
YOUth DEmocratic EXperiences (YOUDEX)
Promote & explore the multidimensional realities of youth participation in Europe through digital & creative storytelling.
YOUDEX will engage young Europeans who have practised democracy, since the early stages, in different spheres of their lives, such as their families, schools and local communities. The project will co-create with them a safe digital space for them to share their personal stories and experiences of being active participants in democratic societies
objectives
YOUDEX’s general objective is to provide youth with tools and spaces to collect and share lived experiences of democracy, empowering peers to learn, enjoy and enforce their participation rights in democratic societies.
The following specific objectives support this general objective:
SO1. Collect and share hands-on experiences of EU youth active-citizenship
SO2. Support youth to communicate their democratic experiences, with training on digital-storytelling&changemaking
SO3. Empower youth with tools to understand their rights in family, schools and societal settings
SO4. Connect young Europeans with diverse backgrounds & experiences of lived-democracy
SO5. Foster safe, accessible digital spaces for youth to express themselves and exercise participation rights
SO6. Promote a pluralistic approach to democracy that reflects youth interests and specific characteristics
