YPARC

YPARC aims to empower young people from 6 European countries to conduct youth-led participatory action research (YPAR) investigating challenges and identifying needs based on their interests and experiences. The partnership is composed by youth organizations working to advance youth inclusion in various sectors and composed by youth from different social groups. The project targets young people from non-dominant social groups and marginalized communities.

objectives

YPARC’s general objective is to create a space where young people from various background can define, share experiences and find solutions to the challenges linked to their rights’ fulfilment & enforcement in society.

This general objective is supported by the following specific objectives:

S01: Connect young people with diverse backgrounds and identities, to collectively examine youth challenges in society.

S02: Empower youth with tools to advocate for their perspectives on social challenges that concern them.

S03: Boost youth agency and participation in decision-making processes

S04: Collect and share youth-perspectives and proposals regarding youth rights policies at the national and European level.

 

activities

  • YPAR Training on Youth & Advocacy on Youth Challenges
    Training open to youth facilitator and young people on how to conduct a Youth-Led partecipatory Research and Advocacy actions on youth challenges.
  • YPAR Workshops in 6 Countries
    Youth will conduct local workshops with their peers, identify a challenge and investigate it through YPAR methodologies, collecting insights through mixed media.
  • YPAR Findings Compilation + Action Plans
    Youth will gather and collect their recommendation and action plans on the selected challenge and share their insights in their local communities and through Mixed Media tools.
  • International Assembly Youth for Change
    A youth gathering where young people will present their reccomendation and action plans to EU policy makers and isntitutions, and to the larger community in Brussels.
